TheKey is urgently hiring caregivers in Santa Barbara and surrounding communities to support clients with advanced dementia in their homes. Immediate daytime, evening, and weekend shifts are available, with 4–6 hour options and the possibility to stack shifts.

Earn top pay rates, with starting wages at $20–$23 per hour and a $200 sign-on bonus plus weekend incentives. Weekly pay and mileage reimbursement enhance earning potential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• HCA Registration with the State of California; we can assist upon hire.
• Valid driver's license with access to an insured vehicle.
• TB Clearance or Chest X-Ray.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients 1:1 with personal care (dressing, bathing, grooming, meals).
• Light housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, organizing).
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and shopping.

Responsibilities

As a Caregiver for TheKey, you’ll assist your clients 1:1 with the following activities inside their homes:

• Personal care: dressing, bathing, grooming and assisting with meals
• Light housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
• Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping
• Companionship: games, puzzles or other activities that provide social and emotional support

Qualifications

• HCA Registration with the State of California (we can help you obtain this upon hire) including meeting state background requirements
