Job summary

TheKey is seeking caregivers to support seniors in Santa Barbara and surrounding communities. Earn $20-$23 per hour with flexible daytime, evenings, and weekend shifts. Full-time and part-time roles available, plus a $200 sign-on bonus and weekend bonus options.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• HCA Registration with the State of California (assistance available on hire).
• Valid driver’s license with access to a fully insured personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients 1:1 with personal care like dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
• Perform light housekeeping including cleaning, laundry, and organization.
• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Offer companionship and engage in activities for social and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

As a Caregiver for TheKey, you’ll assist your clients 1:1 with the following activities inside their homes:

• Personal care: dressing, bathing, grooming and assisting with meals
• Light housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
• Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping
• Companionship: games, puzzles or other activities that provide social and emotional support

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• HCA Registration with the State of California (we can help you obtain this upon hire) including meeting state background requirements
