Job summary

Right at Home of Southern Arizona is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support seniors in staying safely and independently at home in Tucson. You will provide personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and accompany clients to appointments under the guidance of a Care Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own insured vehicle.
• No formal caregiving experience required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers.
• Assist with eating and meal preparation.
• Assist with dressing and grooming.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Light housekeeping.

Pay

Caregiver Responsibilities and Duties

• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Eating
• Dressing/Grooming
• Prepares meals and snacks
• Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments.
• Light Housekeeping

Performs client-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home Care Manager or Nurse

• Medication reminders
• Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
• Measuring and preparing special diets
• Understanding dementia care
• Incontinence care

Caregiver Qualifications and Skills

• Compassion and concern for older adults!
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
