Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and reminders for medications, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services.
• Follow the resident needs schedule set by the supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document a daily log of assistance.
• Inform the supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect residents' independence, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Maintain safety and participate in required trainings and meetings.
• Contribute to a positive, professional environment and perform other duties as assigned.

Position: Caregiver

Main Responsibilities

• Provides assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follows the schedule of resident needs set out by the supervisor.
• Provides emotional and social support to residents.
• Documents a daily log of assistance.
• Informs the supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respects and encourages the independence and dignity of residents.
• Respects residents' confidentiality.
• Is familiar with emergency equipment and procedures.
• Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
• Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
