Zusammenfassung

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a dedicated Care Provider to assist residents with daily activities, support independence, and ensure dignity and safety at all times. The role emphasizes compassionate care and reliable communication with the care team.

Responsibilities include responding to resident needs promptly, documenting changes to conditions, and maintaining a safe environment in a senior living community. Training is provided as needed, with emphasis on high standards of service.

Qualifikationen

• Experience preferred but not required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and provide care.
• Written and verbal communication with staff, physicians, residents, families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening incl. TB tests.
• Vaccination/ PPE requirements per regulatory guidelines.

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living as per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while preserving dignity and safety.
• Report changes in residents' condition to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperation with coworkers and other departments.

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents’ independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

Qualifications:

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
