Overview

Are you passionate about providing exceptional care and support to seniors? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality care? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Fields Senior Living at Spokane Valley.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) tasks, including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care, ambulation, transfers, serving, and assisting with meals, feeding, housekeeping, bed making, and laundry.
  • Provide emotional and behavioral support to residents, promoting a positive and uplifting environment.
  • Support resident activity participation by assisting residents to/from activities, encouraging participation, and leading activities when asked.
  • Collaborate with staff from all departments to ensure quality of care for residents.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
  • Observe residents for safety and report changes in resident condition effectively, accurately, and in a timely manner to the Licensed Nurse (LN) on duty.
  • Answer resident pendant/pull cords immediately.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must have CNA/HCA certification.
  • Food Handlers, CPR/First Aid, Dementia certification required.
  • Must pass Criminal Background Check and TB test.
  • Must be eighteen (18) years old.
  • Maintain current CPR and first aid certification or be willing to obtain.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret care plans.
  • Familiarity with Assisted Living and Memory Care regulations.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize assignments.
Physical Demands and Requirements
  • Maintain ability to lift 50 pounds; stand or walk throughout most of the workday; and frequently push, pull, bend, twist, and reach.
  • Must be willing to be active and on feet during the entire work shift.
  • Involves light to heavy physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous activities.
  • Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with fingers and reach/hand items.

  • You have memory care or assisted living experience as well as all Certifications and Licenses!
Compensation
  • Starting at $19-$21/hour, depending on experience and certifications/licenses.
  • We offer competitive wages and FULL benefits, including medical, dental, vision, vacation, and sick time.
