Qualifications

  • Previous experience in caregiving or related fields preferred.
  • Familiarity with first aid and CPR techniques essential.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction.
  • Strong communication with clients and families.
  • Ability to lift and assist with mobility.
  • Compassionate, patient and empathetic demeanor.
  • Direct support certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing and grooming.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and maintain care plans.
  • Engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being.
  • Support mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
  • Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of living spaces for a welcoming environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to tailor comprehensive care.
  • Uphold HIPAA confidentiality while documenting patient information.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care tailored to individual needs.
  • Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations while documenting patient information.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long‑term care is preferred.
  • Familiarity with first aid and CPR techniques is essential for ensuring client safety.
  • Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges as needed.
  • A compassionate nature combined with patience and empathy towards those you support.
  • Certification in direct support or relevant social work experience is a plus.
