Charley's Angels (PA) is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide personalized care for clients in the Lehigh Valley area. The role focuses on comfort, safety, and well‑being, with duties including daily living assistance, companionship, and health monitoring.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, reliable references, and the ability to communicate in American Sign Language (ASL). Flexible part-time scheduling is available to fit family commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving or nursing assistance is preferred.
• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Physical stamina to perform the duties of the job and assist clients with mobility or lifting when necessary.
• Basic understanding of healthcare terminology and practices.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Help clients with mobility and physical exercises, ensuring their safety and comfort.

• Document client progress and daily activities, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
• Assist with transportation to appointments or outings, ensuring clients remain engaged and active.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
