Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is hiring caregivers to provide community-based support for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will help with daily living, personal care and community participation while building trusting relationships with participants.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to safety policies, and working in a mission-driven team. A valid driver’s license is required, and full-time benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.
• Compassionate, patient and reliable caregiver with a heart for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants in achieving developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Build meaningful relationships and encourage community participation.
• Assist individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs as needed.

Pay $17.00 per hour! Full-time positions available.

Available Schedule:

• Week 1: Mon/Tues/Thurs 2p-8p Fri 2p-10p Sat 8a-2p Week 2: Sun 8a-2p Mon/Tue/Thurs/Fri 2p-8p

This position requires a valid driver's license held for at least one year (post-permit) and a clean motor vehicle record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.
