Job summary

Right at Home Southeast South Dakota is seeking caring caregivers to provide quality companionship and in-home support in Sioux Falls, SD.

You will assist with daily activities, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and mobility transfers, with flexible shifts and paid training. Join a team dedicated to compassionate home care and client well-being.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 1 year caregiving or relevant certifications (CNA, HHA, HCA, PCA) preferred but not required.
• Transportation: Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle.
• Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage in conversations and activities with clients.
• Assist with transfers and mobility, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Provide medication reminders and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Assist with errands and light housekeeping to maintain a clean living space.
• Help with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and personal care.

• Pay: $17 - $20 per hour, based on experience

Job summary

The Caregiver position involves providing high-quality care and companionship to our clients. This includes assisting with daily activities, medication reminders, stand‑by support, and light housekeeping. You will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Companionship: Engage in conversations and activities that bring joy to your client’s day.
• Support: Provide stand‑by assistance with transfers and mobility, which may include lifting or supporting clients weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Medication Reminders: Help clients adhere to their medication schedules.
• Errands & Housekeeping: Assist with running errands, light housekeeping, and maintaining a clean, comfortable living space.
• Physical Assistance: Aid clients with daily living activities, which may involve lifting, bending, and reaching to assist with transfers, bathing, dressing, and other personal care tasks.

• Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D certificate preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of caregiving experience or relevant certifications (CNA, HHA, HCA, PCA preferred but not required).
• Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle.
• Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
