Village Caregiving - Green Bay, WI is seeking a respite caregiver to support a client in their home with non-medical care needs and mobility assistance. The role emphasizes a flexible schedule and collaboration with a caregiving team to balance work and life commitments.

Responsibilities include medication support, mobility assistance, personal care, light housekeeping, shopping, and coordinating with nurses and family members.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required.
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.

• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members.
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

Village Caregiving provides non-medical home care services to allow individuals to age in place. Currently looking for someone to provide respite services for a client of ours. Staff have the autonomy to work with their clients to create a schedule that allows for work-life balance.
