Griswold Care Pairing for North Central Pennsylvania seeks experienced in-home caregivers to assist clients in Columbia, Montour, Union, Snyder, Northumberland, Lycoming and surrounding counties.

Caregivers provide non-medical in-home support with ADLs, homemaking, companionship and transportation as needed, with the ability to determine your own schedule and choose your own clients in the location of your choice. The position offers a higher and competitive wage of $16 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications are listed by Griswold Care Pairing and include compassionate care, homemaking and companionship services, and attentive support for ADLs.
• At least one year of experience caring for older adults (including family care) and willingness to pass background checks and TB tests.
• Two professional and two personal references are required.

Responsabilités

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as dressing, walking/transferring, eating, bathing, toileting and continence care.
• Provide homemaking, companionship, and transportation as needed to support independence at home.
• Select and manage your own schedule and choose clients in the location of your choice.

Non-medical in-home caregivers assist clients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADL)

These activities include assistance with dressing, walking/transferring, eating, bathing, toileting, and continence care. However, there are many other services that a professionally-referred Caregiver must be able to complete.

In addition to personal care, caregivers also assist with homemaking, companionship, transportation (not all cases require transportation), and other support services.

Griswold Care Pairing refers Caregivers who have these minimum qualifications:

• Compassionate provider of personal care, homemaking, and companionship services
• At least one year of experience caring for older adults(can be experience caring for family and/or others)
• State background checks
• 4 References (2 professional and 2 personal)
• Recent and up to date TB tests (2-step or blood draw required)
