Qualifications

• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray is required.
• Ability to travel around the location's territory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for clients.
• Conduct light housekeeping duties.
• Accompany clients on outings and perform errands.
• Remind clients to take their medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and transport.
• Provide companionship.
• Follow the care plan provided for each client.
• Document patient care and activities.

Job Summary

The Homemaker/Companion is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.
