Job summary

ENGYJ in San Jose and the broader Bay Area seeks compassionate caregivers to deliver personal care and companionship in clients’ homes. This hourly, non-exempt role offers flexible hours, meaningful work, and a supportive team environment.

Eligible applicants have 1–2+ years in caregiving, a HS Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and must pass background checks, CPR, TB test or chest X-ray. Overtime opportunities are available.

• 1-2+ years experience in caregiving or related fields.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance.
• Pass background checks, CPR, and TB test or chest X-ray upon hire.
• Dependable, caring, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate personal care and companionship in clients’ homes.
• Assist with hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility support.
• Perform light housekeeping, errands, and transport clients to appointments.
