Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Palo Alto is seeking caregivers to join our Bay Area team for in-home care services. We offer competitive pay and a supportive work environment while serving clients across Palo Alto and nearby communities.

With 1–2 years of caregiving experience, you will provide companionship, daily living assistance, and personal care, while maintaining a strong work ethic and teamwork. Flexible scheduling and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years caregiving experience in in-home care, assisted living, hospital, or family care
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with insurance
• Ability to pass background check
• Current CPR Certification and TB test or chest X-ray (required upon hire)
• Strong work ethic and team player attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate companionship
• Assist with daily living tasks such as dressing, grooming, and meal prep
• Medication reminders and light housekeeping
• Personal care including bathing, mobility support, feeding, and incontinence care
• Transport clients to appointments and errands safely
