Job summary

Legacy Concierge is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to deliver dedicated 1:1 non-medical care in clients' homes in California. Shifts typically run 8–12 hours, with schedules like Sun-Wed or Thu-Sat, providing consistent support and strong communication with the care team.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of caregiving experience, is a CA Registered Home Care Aide, and can document care activities clearly while maintaining professionalism and empathy in a private home setting.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of caregiving experience.
• CA Registered Home Care Aide in good standing.
• Proof of negative tuberculosis test/chest X-ray.
• Ability to work competently in a 1:1 private care environment.
• Strong communication, documentation, professionalism, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 personalized non-medical care in the client's home.
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal care, transfer assistance, bathing, dressing, incontinence care, medication reminders, and hand hygiene.
• Support instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) such as meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, and companion care.
• Complete daily care notes accurately and promptly using agency systems.
• Communicate with the RN Care Ambassador or Client Care Coordination team when client status changes or escalation is needed.

Job Summary:

At Legacy Concierge, we believe every client deserves personalized, one-on-one care. As a Caregiver, you'll provide dedicated 1:1 care to one client at a time in the comfort of their home, typically for an 8-12 hour shift. We're looking for high-quality caregivers who continuously demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal relationships, and quality care delivery through a person-centered care approach. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 personalized non-medical care in the client's home.
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal care, transfer assistance, bathing, dressing, incontinence care, medication reminders, and proper hand hygiene.
• Support instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation (if applicable), and companion care.
• Complete daily care notes accurately and in a timely manner using agency document systems.
• Communicate promptly and consistently with the RN Care Ambassador and/or Client Care Coordination team when there is a change in client status, incident, or general concerns requiring escalation.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional experience or personal caregiving experience and/or equivalent education or clinical hands-on experience.
• Registered Home Care Aide in good standing (CA only).
• Proof of negative tuberculosis test/chest x-ray.
• Demonstrated ability to work competently in a 1:1 private care environment.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions and ask questions when clarification is needed.
• Strong communication, documentation, professionalism, and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and move for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift, transfer, or reposition patients with appropriate assistive techniques.
• Ability to lift or carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
• Use of technology equipment including tablets, phones, and navigating through WellSky, Learning Management System, etc.
• Ability to safely and confidently use durable medical equipment (DME).
