Job summary

Visiting Angels Midtown Sacramento, CA is hiring caregivers to provide in-home non-medical care for seniors and disabled individuals in the Sacramento area. Companionship, personal care, and support for chronic conditions are available with flexible shifts and the option to work as many hours as desired.

Employees receive weekly pay, bonuses for referrals, and opportunities for overtime. Caregivers are supported with training, benefits after 90 days, and company vehicles for client outings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in-home care.
• Must be 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the US.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with shot record.
• Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual and multilingual caregivers welcomed.
• Must be able to use a smartphone for EVV and caregiver notes.
• Ability to pass extensive background checks including Live Scan fingerprinting.
• Have a negative TB screening within the last 90 days.
• Registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry.
• Be compassionate, understanding, flexible, and have a true desire to help others.

We provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and disabled individuals so they can remain in their homes. Our caregiver services range from simple companionship and personal care to more complex cases when care is needed for someone living with chronic disease, stroke, or recovering from surgery. Our office in Midtown Sacramento provides caregivers to the local area including and many others.

Visiting Angels works hard to match a Caregiver with clients who are compatible with their skill level and personality, and we schedule our caregivers for as many or as few hours as they desire. Our caregivers are recognized for their work regularly, and we offer shift bonuses for fill-in work.

• Must be 18 years old and able to work legally in the US
• Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 with shot record
• Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record
