Visiting Angels Midtown is hiring a Full Time Caregiver to join our compassionate team serving Davis, Sacramento, and nearby areas. You will provide in-home care tailored to each client's plan, including personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and mobility support.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the US.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster and have a shot record.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes during scheduled shifts.
• Comfort with light housekeeping and cooking within dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with state and office health and safety standards (background check).
• Demonstrate compassion and a genuine desire to brighten clients' day.
• Must use a smartphone for EVV and caregiver notes.
• Able to pass extensive background checks including Live Scan and TB screening.

As a Visiting Angels Full Time Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients

Full Time Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old and able to work legally in the US
• Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 with shot record
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
• Must be able to use a smartphone for electronic visit verification (EVV) and caregiver notes
• Ability to pass extensive background checks, including Live Scan fingerprinting
• Have a negative TB screening within the last 90 days
• Registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry
