Sevita's NeuroRestorative in New Jersey is seeking an Overnight Caregiver to support clients with brain and spinal cord injuries. You will provide essential care, companionship, and safety during night shifts and align with program guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year of human services or caregiving preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 1 year with no restrictions.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Successful background check clearance.

• Ability to safely bend and lift to assist clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Transport clients to appointments using company vehicles.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Support wheelchair assistance and safe transportation.
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Ensure overall safety and well-being of clients.

Job description

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Overnights | Thurs. 11p-9a, Fri. 11p-7a, Sat. 3p-11p & 11p-7a (full time)

Starting Pay:

$16.25/hour

• Additional $0.50/hour for 1–4 years of experience
• Additional $1.00/hour for 5+ years of experience

Preliminary Requirements

• Proof of non-probationary driver’s license held for at least one year
• Ability to attend orientation (Tuesday–Friday, Daytime)
