Job summary

Almost Family is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home personal care and companionship in Bend, OR. You will support seniors in daily activities, promote independence, and help with transportation to appointments while maintaining a safe, welcoming home environment.

The role offers $20-$22 per hour, paid biweekly, with benefits including paid time off, healthcare options, and training opportunities. Prior caregiving experience is preferred but not required for all applicants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Compassionate heart; ideally with one year of senior care experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily routines including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals.
• Document client progress and monitor health needs.
• Create a safe, organized living space and provide light housekeeping.
• Escort and transport clients to medical appointments and errands.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Empowering Independence: Assist our clients with their daily routines, including gentle help with bathing, grooming, dressing, and preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals.
• Attentive Advocacy: Keep a caring eye on our clients' well-being, documenting their progress and ensuring their health needs are always a top priority.
• Creating a Sanctuary: Foster a warm, safe, and organized living space where clients feel secure and respected.

• Home Comforts: Lend a hand with light housekeeping and laundry to keep the home running smoothly.
• Out & About: Safely escort and transport clients to medical appointments and important errands, helping them stay connected to their community.

What You Bring to the Family (Requirements)
