Job summary

Almost Family - Central Oregon is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care and companionship to local seniors in Bend and surrounding communities.

The position pays $20–$22 per hour with biweekly pay and a benefits package including paid time off, health care, paid training, and development opportunities.

Responsibilities include helping with daily routines, documenting client well‑being, light housekeeping, and safe transport to appointments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Compassionate with one year of experience caring for seniors or those with disabilities.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily routines including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals.
• Document clients’ progress and health needs.
• Create a warm, safe, and organized living space.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Escort and transport clients to medical appointments and errands.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Empowering Independence: Assist our clients with their daily routines, including gentle help with bathing, grooming, dressing, and preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals.

What You Bring to the Family (Requirements)
