Job summary

Senior Helpers Princeton is seeking compassionate NJ Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs), CNAs and Companions to provide exceptional in-home care across Mercer County. You will support seniors with daily living activities and promote independence in their own homes.

We offer 4, 8, 12 and overnight shifts, competitive pay from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, and ongoing training. Join a supportive team dedicated to improving clients' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current certification as CHHA or CNA.
• Companion Caregivers also needed.
• Compassionate, patient and dependable with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, and medication reminders.
• Monitor health status and report changes to nursing staff or family.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

This role involves supporting seniors and individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life. Areas we service are Plainsboro, Princeton, Ewing, Hamilton, East Windsor, West Windsor, Hightstown, Lawrenceville, Frenchtown, Trenton.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of loneliness.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Monitor clients' health status and report any changes to nursing staff or family members as appropriate.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients in their homes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Companion Caregivers also needed
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible availability to accommodate client needs.
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes in the Princeton NJ area.
