The Caregiver is responsible for assisting residents in daily activities while maintaining dignity and respect, in accordance with policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks on residents
• Assist residents with daily activities and respond promptly and kindly to needs
• Follow care plans, including managing oxygen tanks and concentrators as per MD orders
• Transport residents safely, assisting with transfers and escorting to/from meals and activities
• Handle cleaning, laundry, and other community activities as required
• Document resident information and report any changes to a supervisor
• Respond quickly to resident alerts and emergencies
• Maintain compliance with standards and regulations
• Present a professional image, wearing proper uniform and name tag
• Uphold Clearwater Living principles and values
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Active Certified Assisted Living Caregiver Certification
• First Aid and CPR/BLS Certification
• Background clearances as required by law
