Job summary

Caring Friends Home Care is seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers to support seniors in their homes. You will assist with daily activities, provide companionship, and help maintain independence and quality of life.

The role offers flexible scheduling, weekend pay, paid time off, and opportunities for training and career growth. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are often required for transportation to clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills expected.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption documentation required or provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Run errands and grocery shop when needed.
• Provide transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Offer medication reminders.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client activities and well‑being.
