Job summary

HomeCare Advocacy Network is hiring caregivers in Omaha, NE. We offer flexible shifts and the ability to create your own schedule, with paid training and competitive pay.

No experience is required and you will follow a daily care plan, providing compassionate, one-on-one support in clients' homes. Caregivers assist with personal care, reminders, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments, while ensuring safety and comfort for seniors, including those with dementia.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years or older.
• A High School Diploma is preferred.
• Possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• A willingness to work flexible hours.
• Enjoy spending time with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients; engage in conversation and provide companionship.
• Assist with personal care (toileting, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating).
• Medication reminders.
• Ensure the client’s home is organized and tidy.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks.
• Transfers and walking assistance may be required (helping the client in and out of a seated position).
• Transport the client to appointments or errands.
• May include caring for clients with dementia.

Hourly pay rate: $16 - $18/hr
