At Sunrise, our Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living and reminiscence neighborhoods.
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Part-Time - 1st Shift
Responsibilities:
- Build meaningful relationships with a specified number of seniors and their families by assisting with activities of daily living, attending to individual care needs, and understanding their preferences and personalities.
- Notify management of changes in residents' conditions and recommend adjustments in care and services.
- Assist residents with life skills and other enriching activities as indicated on their individual profiles.
- Incorporate a variety of multi-sensory experiences into residents' daily routines.
- Participate in developing and updating Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
- Responsible for the well-being of their designated residents during the shift, knowing their locations and checking on them regularly.
- Collaborate with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promote risk management programs and policies, adhering to safety regulations.
- Respond to dining needs of residents and guests while maintaining Sunrise hospitality standards.
- Encourage and assist residents in life skills and enriching activities as per ISP and demographic profiles.
- Serve our residents and guests in accordance with our Principles of Service.
Qualifications:
- Dedication and passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
- Positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties, and ability to work in a team environment.
- High School diploma or GED; additional certifications may be required by state regulations.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Ability to make decisions and act in the best interest of residents.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
