Job summary

Right at Home in Olympia, WA is hiring Caregivers, CNAs, and HCAs to provide compassionate in-home care. You will assist with daily living, mobility, meals, medications reminders, and transportation, helping clients maintain independence in familiar surroundings.

We offer flexible schedules, paid orientation, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth. A valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a background check are required; CNA/Home Health Aide certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance and registration.
• Pass a state and national background check.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mobility Assistance: safely assisting with transfers and positioning in the home.
• Homemaking: light housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and linen changes.
• Nutritional Support: meal planning and preparation per dietary instructions.
• Transportation & Advocacy: provide reliable transport for errands and medical appointments.
• Personal Hygiene Care: bathing, dressing, grooming, and related tasks.
• Medication Management: reminders and monitoring of changes in condition.
• Special Dementia Care: memory care techniques and cognitive engagement.
• Companionship: meaningful social interaction and engagement.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Mobility Assistance:Expertly assisting with safe patient handling, transferring, and positioning throughout the home.
• Homemaking Excellence:Maintaining a safe, sanitary environment through light housekeeping, including vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, laundry, and linen changes.
• Nutritional Support:Meal planning and preparation according to specialized dietary instructions and hydration goals.
• Transportation & Advocacy:Providing reliable transportation and support services for errands, grocery shopping, and essential medical appointments.
• Personal Hygiene Care:Dignified assistance with bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, and shaving/perineal care.
