The JOY FM in Georgia is seeking compassionate caregivers for a wonderful 35-year-old woman with CP who uses a wheelchair. We offer both full-time and part-time positions to reliable, patient applicants who value dignity and independence.

Responsibilities include daily living assistance, transfers, personal care, meals, transportation, companionship, and ensuring a safe, respectful environment. Scheduling will be discussed with qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain them.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable driving record.
• References required.
• Must be dependable, punctual, patient, trustworthy and compassionate.

Responsibilities

• Daily Living Skills: Assisting with everyday activities and encouraging independence.
• Transfers & Mobility: Assisting with transfers to and from wheelchair, bed, seating areas.
• Personal Care: Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting as needed.
• Feeding & Meals: Assisting with eating and mealtime needs.
• Transportation: Driving to appointments, activities, errands and outings.
• Companionship: Friendly interaction, encouragement and meaningful engagement.

Now Hiring: Full-Time & Part-Time Caregivers Compassionate Care for a Wonderful 35-Year-Old Woman We are looking for caring, dependable, and patient individuals to join our caregiving team and provide assistance to a wonderful 35-year-old woman with cerebral palsy (CP) who uses a wheelchair. We are seeking both full-time and part-time caregivers who are compassionate, responsible, and dedicated to helping her live a comfortable, active, and fulfilling life while maintaining her dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Daily Living Skills: Assisting with everyday activities and encouraging independence wherever possible.
• Transfers & Mobility: Safely assisting with transfers to and from her wheelchair, bed, and other seating areas.
• Personal Care: Providing assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
• Feeding & Meals: Assisting with eating and mealtime needs.
• Transportation: Driving her to appointments, activities, errands, and other outings as needed.
• Companionship: Providing friendly interaction, encouragement, and meaningful engagement.
• Daily Activities: Helping maintain routines, supporting life skills, and assisting with everyday needs.
• Safety & Comfort: Maintaining a safe environment and treating her with kindness, patience, and respect at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred; experience assisting adults with disabilities is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification required, or willingness to obtain them if acceptable to the employer.
• Valid driver’s license and a dependable driving record.
• Reliable transportation, if required for the position.
• References required.
• Must be dependable, punctual, patient, trustworthy, and compassionate.
• Must be physically capable of performing required caregiving and transfer duties safely, with appropriate equipment and assistance.
• Ability to follow care instructions, communicate effectively, and respect personal privacy and dignity.
