Job summary

Home Matters Caregiving is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our Austin, TX team. You will provide essential in-home care, assist with daily living activities, and support client safety and dignity across shifts.

We value caregiver growth, offer flexible schedules, and provide weekly pay plus referral bonuses. Experience in senior care is preferred, and training is provided to help you advance within our organization.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age (some exceptions may apply)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute client care plans and document daily activities
• Assist clients with activities of daily living
• Provide clients with household assistance: food preparation, monitoring home safety, laundering, light housekeeping
• Provide clients with personal care assistance: hygienic care, mobility assistance, medication assistance, companionship

REQUIREMENTS:

• Schedule: Consistent and flexible shifts
• Experience: One year of formal caregiving experience in senior care

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Agency office
• Client homes
• Skilled, Independent and Assisted Living Communities

JOB RELATIONSHIPS:

Supervisor: Executive Director

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to lift 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic movements
• Able to stand, walk, reach, crouch, use hands and fingers
• Able to talk, hear and see
