Job summary

Right at Home Morgantown is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our in-home care team. As a Caregiver, you will help seniors and vulnerable adults live safely and comfortably in their own homes, delivering personalized support and companionship.

Your role includes assisting with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, mobility, and dementia care, while building meaningful relationships with clients and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as vacuuming, dusting, and doing dishes.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities such as reading, music, or puzzles.
• Assist with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their home.
• Perform range of motion exercises and other therapies as prescribed.
• Provide dementia care and support.
• And other care activities as needed and assigned.
