Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Caregiver role based in Nashville, TN. The Caregiver provides non-medical support to clients in their homes, such as assistance with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders according to the care plan. The role includes offering companionship, engaging clients in meaningful activities, and monitoring their well-being while promptly reporting any changes to supervisors or family members. Caregivers are expected to follow established safety procedures, maintain clear documentation of services provided, and communicate professionally with clients, families, and the agency. The position requires reliability, empathy, and a commitment to helping clients maintain independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated caregiving skills, including assistance with personal care, mobility support, and activities of daily living.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and families.
• Organizational and time-management skills to follow care plans, keep records, and manage multiple client needs.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, maintain client confidentiality, and adhere to agency policies and procedures.
• Previous experience in home care, senior care, or a related support role is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant caregiving training or certifications (such as CNA or home health aide) are a plus.
• Reliable transportation to client homes in the Nashville, TN area and ability to work assigned shifts, including possible evenings or weekends.
• Ability to pass background checks and any required screenings in accordance with applicable regulations.
