Job summary

BrightStar Care of The Monterey Peninsula is looking for experienced Caregivers to provide personalized care to clients in Monterey. As a part-time caregiver, you will assist with daily living activities, transport clients, and engage them in social activities. The role offers a per diem schedule, competitive pay between $21 - $24 per hour and extensive benefits. Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required for transportation of clients.
• 1 year of previous professional experience as a Caregiver or Home Care Aide is preferred.
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray are mandatory.

Part-time Caregiver shifts available

Are you an experienced Caregiver / Home Care Aide who takes pride in providing exceptional care and compassion to your clients?

Flexible per diem Caregiver schedule. Choose the Caregiver shifts you want! Most days & shifts available.

Duties:

• Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Transport clients to appointments, errands and other activities
• Prepare and serve meals while adhering to dietary requirements as needed
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up living areas
• Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients
• Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate medical professionals
• Document tasks and create care notes for each visit
• Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality

Requirements Caregiver:

• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable, Insured Vehicle
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Registration or willing to register to be on the Home Care Aide Registry
• 1 year of previous professional experience as an in home Caregiver / Home Care Aide or similar (preferred)
