Job summary

Visiting Angels Missouri City is hiring a Caregiver to support local seniors with compassionate in-home care. Responsibilities include medication reminders, mobility assistance, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of caregiving experience, a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle with insurance, and be eligible to work in the United States. Training opportunities are available to develop dementia or Alzheimer's care skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving, home health, or CNA experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Willingness and ability to transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Reliable attendance and dependability are required.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
