Job description

What you’ll be doing:
  • Spread happiness through general housekeeping duties, keeping our residents' living spaces clean, safe, and tidy.
  • Plan and engage in leisure activities, fostering socialization and friendship among residents.
  • Team up with the Dining Services Department to assist with associated tasks.
  • Provide assistance or reminders with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
What you’ll bring to the table:
  • High school diploma (preferred) or equivalent certificate, with a competent history in a similar facility.
  • Valid First Aid Certifications may be required according to state regulations.
  • Based on state requirement - Possession of a Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, state certifications, and successful completion of examination and/or skills evaluation (as required).
  • Willingness to meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all necessary license(s).
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents and team members.
What's in it for you:

We believe in taking care of our associates, just like they take care of our residents. Here are some of the perks we offer for eligible associates:

Time to recharge:

PTO Plan and holiday pay because we believe work-life balance and celebrating special occasions is important.

To keep you healthy:

Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision plans. You’ll even have access to a Personal Health Advocate to be your right hand in things like coordinating care with providers, insurance coverage questions, and billing issues. Because mental health is being healthy, our EAP program is here to help when needed.

For the future and just in case:

401k plan because retirement sounds pretty awesome. Plus, optional insurance coverage such as Accident & Critical Illness and Life & Disability. You can also opt in to have access to legal services to help with anything from will preparation to more complex legal issues.

For those you love:

Domestic Partner Coverage and optional pet insurance are available.

Because we like to have fun:

Regularly scheduled associate appreciation and fun events with games, food, and prizes. We take our work seriously but try not to take ourselves too seriously.

We want you to stay with us for a long time. We provide opportunities for ongoing monthly education & CEU opportunities to enhance your skills.
