Job summary

Legacy Retirement Residence of Mesa is seeking a Senior Living Caregiver to join our team in a role that supports seniors to maintain independence and well-being. You will assist residents with daily activities, ensure safety, and foster meaningful connections in a vibrant community near Northeast Mesa.

Qualified candidates will have a valid food handler's permit, CPR/first-aid certification, fingerprint clearance, and completion of an AZ-approved caregiver course.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current food handler's permit
• CPR and first-aid certification
• Fingerprint Clearance card
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, supervisors, and employees
• Willingness to work with the elderly
• Completion of a certified caregiver course approved by the State of Arizona.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FULL- OR PART-TIME SENIOR LIVING CAREGIVER

As a full- or part-time Senior Living Caregiver, you greet familiar faces with warm smiles, providing hands-on care and support for their daily activities while ensuring their dignity and independence. With compassion, you assist them in their personal routines, skillfully balancing their independence with the care you require, all while documenting any significant changes for the Resident Care Coordinator. Throughout your day, you remain vigilant, reporting any health concerns promptly while upholding the confidentiality of each resident's information and maintaining the appearance and sanitation standards that reflect the high expectations of our Communities. Engaging in thoughtful conversations, you connect with residents, bringing warmth to their day and contributing to a community where everyone feels valued and cared for.
