Qualifications

• Prior experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or personal care assistant preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to complete training upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents during mealtimes, recreational activities, and daily routines, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights, ensuring safety and attentiveness at all times.
• Assist with transferring and positioning residents using proper safety techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor residents’ health and behavior and report changes to nursing or leadership staff.
• Build positive relationships with residents and families and encourage participation in social activities.
• Coordinate with nurses, dining, and life enrichment staff to deliver holistic care.

What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers)

Deliver Compassionate Resident Care:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

Collaborate with Team Members:

• Work alongside nurses, dining, and life enrichment staff to coordinate and deliver holistic care.

• Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay current on care practices and community updates.

What You Bring to the Table (Besides Your Big Heart)

Experience & Training:

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and move throughout the shift.

• Able to assist with resident transfers and physical support using proper techniques.
