Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Maryland is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our team. You will provide hands-on support with daily living activities, follow individualized service plans, and help create a safe, dignified, and engaging environment for residents.

This role emphasizes compassionate communication with residents and families, collaboration with care leaders, and opportunities for growth through paid training and benefits. CPR/First Aid helps ensure safety on the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
