Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care of Manassas-Gainesville is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team. This part-time CNA/HHA/PCA role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to help seniors stay safe and independent at home.

Responsibilities include bathing, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship. Prior caregiving experience is preferred; state-licensed caregivers are valued for their dedication.

Qualifications

• CNA, HHA, PCA, or caregiving experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass a background check
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Mobility assistance and safe transfers
• Companionship and emotional support
• Dementia and Alzheimer's care
• Hospice support (when assigned)
• Accurately document care in WellSky after each shift
• Report changes in client condition to the office
