Summary:

As a Resident Assistant, you play a vital role in enhancing residents' lives by providing consistent, quality care and engaging with residents in meaningful activities.

Essential Functions:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engage residents in conversation, socialization, and activities while providing personal care
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests
• Assist during meal times and encourage participation in activities and outings
• Maintain cleanliness of the community and residents' rooms
• Assist with laundry as per shift guidelines

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience with elderly care preferred
• Effective communication skills in English
• Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to pass required tests (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers)
