Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors Ozarks is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to brighten the lives of seniors in Springfield, Nixa, Ozark and surrounding areas.

You will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, and personal care support with flexible scheduling. Earn $16 per hour and build lasting relationships while delivering high-quality care.

• Clock in/out using care management system.

Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services of Ozarks (SHS) brightens the lives of seniors who can benefit from a helping hand and a friendly smile. Our caregivers, who are seniors themselves, make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort of our care receiver’s home.

SHS empowers seniors to continue living independently by caring for day-to-day tasks that become more challenging as seniors age.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan

• Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been completed

Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include:

• Provide Companionship

• Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc…

• Shopping and Errands

• Meal Preparation

• Medication Reminders

• Pet Care

• Light Yard Work

• Light Handyman Services

• Overnight Supervision

• Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family, or their favorite restaurant

Personal Care Duties may include:

• Assist with Dressing

• Assist with Feeding

• Assist with Showering / Bathing

• Mobility Assistance

• Assist with Toileting / Incontinence

• Memory Care

Other Responsibilities:

• Arrive on Time for all Services

• Caregivers may be contacted by management outside of standard office hours when coverage is needed for open shifts.
• Maintain documentation of all services provided

• Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staff

• Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff

• Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible

• Clock in and out using our care management system
