Job summary

Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking to hire Skilled Caregivers to join a dynamic care team providing clinical expertise.

Responsibilities include personal care and daily living activities, mobility support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and accompaniment to appointments. A valid driver’s license and insured vehicle are required; prior Home Health Aide experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide.
• Valid driver’s license and insured automobile.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, eating, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Assists with ambulation/transfers and ensures client safety during movement.
• Dresses/undresses the client as needed.
• Prepares meals/snacks according to instructions.
• Accompanies client to errands or medical appointments.
• Performs housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, laundry, dishes, and maintaining a clean living environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

Performs personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):

• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Undressing
• Preparing meals/snacks according to instructions
• Accompany client on errands or medical appointments.
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile.
• Three years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities).
