Essential Job Duties

• Assist with personal care, bathing, and dressing.
• Provide caring companionship and conversation.
• Escort and assist residents during outings and appointments.
• Encourage residents to be active and independent.
• Supervise or assist with household tasks.
• Maintain a safe environment.
• Keep supervisor informed of resident status.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current first aid and CPR certification or obtain within 3 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year or more experience working with seniors.
• Experience providing dementia-level care.
