Job summary

Caring for Others is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one support and companionship for seniors in the community. You’ll help with meals, light housekeeping, errands, and personal care, including mobility assistance, in clients' homes across our service area.

Paid training provided, opportunities for certifications and CEUs, and a range of wellness benefits. This role offers day, evening, night, weekend shifts and potential bilingual assignments.

Qualifications

• Caregiving, CNA, DSP, DSW, bilingual or senior care experience preferred
• 18+ with a valid license and insured transportation
• Background check required to join the team

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, meals, light housekeeping, and errands
• Assist with personal care and mobility
• Support clients with Alzheimer's/Dementia

Requirements

You're a great fit if you:

• Are 18+ with a valid license and reliable, insured transportation
• Can pass a background check
• Visit and support multiple Clients as needed
• Have Caregiving, CNA, DSP, DSW, bilingual, or senior care experience (a plus, not required)
• Ability to work some or all the following: Day Shifts, Evening, NOC or Overnight Shifts, Weekend Shifts

OUR SERVICE AREA

Work with Clients in your own community!

We are hiring for multiple caregiver opportunities, including Day, Evening, Night (NOC), and Overnight shifts, as well as Weekend, Bilingual, CNA, and Lead Caregiver roles. Caregivers are based out of Astoria, OR and may be scheduled throughout the Northern Oregon Coast service area, which includes Astoria, Warrenton, Seaside, Knappa, Nehalem, Hammond, Cannon Beach, Gearhart, Clatskanie, Manzanita, Rockaway Beach, Svensen, Brownsmead, Oceanside, Wheeler, Garibaldi, and Bay City. Service areas vary based on client needs, and candidates should be comfortable traveling to client homes within this region.

Salary Description

$18 - $22 per hour
