Job summary

BrightStar Care of Las Vegas is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide in-home support to clients in their own homes. The role emphasizes safe ADL assistance, transport, and companionship with a client-centered approach.

Minimum 1 year of PCA/caregiver experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid driver’s license are required. Weekend availability is essential for this part-time position at multiple Las Vegas area locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) or Caregiver.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and comfortable working with household pets.
• Current driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Valid physical exam and negative TB test.
• Ability to clear FBI Background screening, Child Abuse Registry, and Drug Testing.
• Maintain professional appearance with ability to cover tattoos; no facial tattoos.
• Hands-on CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Consistent weekend availability (Saturday and/or Sunday).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care in clients' homes, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as toileting, hygiene, and showering.
• Support safe transfers using gait belts or Hoyer lifts.
• Monitor vital signs and deliver basic and advanced dementia care.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship.
• Offer transportation support and pet care as needed.
