Responsibilities
  • Provide personal hygiene assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting
  • Medication Reminders
  • Assist with transfers and help facilitate ambulation
  • Help with mobility around the house and in the community (doctor’s appointments, shopping, etc.)
  • Plan and prepare meals, help client with eating when applicable
  • Assist or facilitate physical therapy exercises in clinic and at home
  • Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
  • Perform housekeeping duties
  • Pet care (if applicable)
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  • Assist with any/all activities of daily living (ADLs)
Qualifications
  • 6 months - 1 year experience in home care or other healthcare setting -- Experience in CNA Program (even if your state license has expired), MA, PTA/OTA, Pharmacy Tech, STUDENTS please apply!
  • Reliable transportation (valid driver's license not required)
  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
  • Compassionate and supportive
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards in work environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
