Job summary

ComForCare Home Care in Keller, TX is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients at home. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship, following Plans of Care.

Flexible PRN morning shifts and opportunities for advancement are available. Requirements include high school diploma or GED, valid CNA license, CPR & First Aid, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and prior home-care experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must hold a valid CNA license/certification.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications required.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and assist mobility.
  • Prior home care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily activities to help them stay independent at home.
  • Provide personal care and mobility support, transfers and ROM exercises.
  • Plan meals, assist with feeding, and manage household needs.
  • Provide companionship and respite care for families.
  • Follow written Plans of Care and document care provided.
  • Work flexible PRN morning shifts as needed.

What we are looking for:
  • A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
  • Valid CNA License
  • Current CPR and First aid certificate
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Able to lift minimum 50 lbs. and perform necessary movements
  • Experience with Hoyer lift and other mobility assistance devices
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care/Aide Care Plan
  • Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities is a bonus.
What you will be doing:
  • Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
  • Provide assistance with personal care.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
  • Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
  • Properly manage household needs.
  • Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
  • Willing to work flexible shifts
Shifts:
  • PRN - 12 hour Morning shift
Salary Range:
  • $15.00 per hour for caregivers who hold current CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • $16.00–$17.00 per hour for caregivers with at least two years of caregiving experience.
  • $18.00–$19.00 per hour for caregivers who are Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
