Job summary

Senior Helpers Honolulu is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team in the communities we serve. This part-time role starts immediately and offers meaningful daily interactions by helping seniors with daily activities and companionship.

Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, grooming, meals, light housekeeping, mobility and medication reminders, with competitive pay starting at $17 per hour and opportunities for increased earnings.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiver experience, professionally or with family.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of background check & drug screen
• Able to perform physical tasks & lift up to 50lbs
• Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with dressing, grooming, and bathing.
• Provide companionship during morning routines.
• Prepare light breakfast and ensure hydration.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Monitor client well-being and report concerns.

A Typical Morning Might Include:

• Helping a client start their day with ease - assistance with dressing, grooming, and bathing
• Sharing a cup of coffee and some friendly conversation
• Preparing a light breakfast and making sure hydration is on track
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with safe mobility & transfersLight housekeeping to keep things tidy
• Running errands
• Keeping an eye on the overall well-being and condition of client and communicate any concerns
