Job summary

Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care in clients' homes across the surrounding communities. You'll build a relationship with the person you're supporting and help them stay safe, comfortable and independent at home.

No prior professional caregiving experience is required. If you're reliable, patient and enjoy helping others, we'd love to talk.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation to and from shifts.
• Be dependable, caring and patient.
• Background checks will be completed.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Depending on the needs of the individual you're supporting, you may:

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals
• Complete light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual's care plan
• Document the services you provide

What We’re Looking For

You must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver's license
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to complete required background checks
• Be dependable, caring and patient

Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.
