Job summary

The Bayshore on HHI in Hilton Head Island, SC is seeking a compassionate Quality of Life Specialist/Resident Assistant to join our team. This role offers day 7a-7p and night 7p-7a shifts with weekend availability to support residents.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with personal care, meals, documentation, timely communication with families and staff, facilitating activities, and responding to call lights and emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year experience as CNA/PCA/HHA/RA preferred.

• Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height/weight checks) per policy.
• Assist residents with mealtime; cut food and encourage to eat.
• Complete and document shift assignments; report if unable to complete.
• Communicate with residents, families, Department Heads and Director of Resident Services when needed.
• Provide planned activities and/or directed activities.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies promptly.

We are currently seeking an outstanding Quality of Life Specialist/Resident Assistant to join our team.

Day shift: 7a-7p with weekend availability

Night shift: 7p-7a with weekend availability

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities:

• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Assist residents with mealtime. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
• Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, if unable to complete, report to nursing supervisor.
• Communicate to residents, families, Department Heads and the Director of Resident Services when needed.
• Provide activities as planned and/or directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• One (1) year experience working as a CNA/PCA/HHA/RA preferred

Starting pay: $18/hr
