Job summary

The Bayshore on Hilton Head Island is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide to join our senior living community. We offer full-time and part-time positions with Day (7a-7p) and Night (7p-7a) shifts, both requiring weekend availability.

The role provides direct resident care and coordination with the nursing team under physician orders and facility policy. Expect hourly wages starting at $20+ per hour, with a focus on safety, dignity, and promoting independence for residents.

Qualifications

• Med aide certification or similar experience.
• Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent lifestyle of residents.
• Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care according to physician's orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents and assists in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.

The Bayshore on Hilton Head Island is recruiting for a hospitality focused Medication Aide to join our team! We are looking for a Full-Time and Part-Time Medication Aides with a passion for serving seniors.

Open Shifts include:

• Day Shift (7a-7p)
• Night Shift (7p- 7a)

All shifts require weekend availability.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on our nursing team and help care for a special group of residents at The Bayshore on HHI!

This position provides direct care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.

Hourly wage starting at $20+/hr.
